About Us

Serene Health Inc. is a Liberian non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to free, quality healthcare for vulnerable and underserved communities. For the last 12 years, our programs have targeted women, children, the elderly, and people living in hard-to-reach areas where healthcare services are limited or non-existent.

Founded and led by Maima Quoi Pelham, a registered nurse and public health professional, Serene Health operates a community-driven mobile clinic model that brings essential healthcare directly to people where they live. Our approach is simple, effective, and rooted in dignity, equity, and compassion.
We believe that no one should be denied healthcare because of where they live or what they earn. Every day, our team works to bridge the gap between marginalized communities and the lifesaving services they deserve.
Our mobile clinic teams consist of passionate and committed volunteers, including:

Doctors
Physician Assistants (PAs)
Registered Nurses and Midwives
Pharmacists
Laboratory Technicians
Social Workers
Community Health Volunteers
Support Staff

Together, we deliver services such as primary healthcare, maternal and child health, deworming, health education, basic laboratory tests, sexual and reproductive health services, and referrals.

Through strong community partnerships, collaboration with county health teams, and the support of donors and volunteers, Serene Health Inc. is building a model of community-based healthcare that places access, dignity, and equity at the center of care.
